RPEP Chapter 13
The Retired Public Employees of Pennsylvania (RPEP), founded July 19, 1979, have their own member-run Chapter 13 with more than 11,000 members. RPEP’s mission is to promote the organization of public employee retirees; to promote the welfare of the membership, and to provide a voice in shaping a better and more productive life for public employee retirees and retirees in general.
As a member of RPEP/Chapter 13, you will be able to attend monthly meetings of your local RPEP subchapter (in most parts of the state) and be eligible for a variety of members-only benefits, including AFSCME Advantage discounts and benefits. For example: discounted legal services including free preparation of a will, college scholarships for children and grandchildren, the Free College program. Additionally, Chapter 13 has member-only benefits for its retiree members including up to a 10% discount on home and auto insurance; dental and vision insurance; and services through PSECU Financial Services.
